Why we're making these changes
Due to new age verification laws introduced in the UK, we now require all UK users to verify their age before viewing any pornographic content.
How this will affect users
All UK users must complete an age check after login and before any explicit content is shown. This process is facilitated through our partner Verifymy.
To complete the verification process:
- Sign up for a new account or log into your account online.
- When logging in, you will be prompted to verify your age. You can now choose between using a government-issued ID with face match (more info) or using an email-based verification method offered by Verifymy (more info).
- Follow the instructions provided by Verifymy to complete the process.
- Once verified, your account will be updated accordingly.
Additional Information
Vixen Media Group maintains a written record of our compliance with the UK Online Safety Act (2023), Section 81, Part 5 Duties, including details of the age verification process and data protection measures we follow.
The email-based method uses metadata about the user’s email address to assess whether the user is over 18. No content or personal messages are accessed. Verifymy deletes all associated data after verification.
We continuously evaluate and refine our age verification processes to align with evolving regulations and industry standards. This ensures our verification methods remain effective, secure, and in compliance with the latest best practices.
Verifymy Privacy Policy
Verifymy uses the highest level of encryption, maximising the security of your data, and deletes all documents after validation.
During the age-verification process, we do not receive any of the documents you upload; we only receive a final confirmation that you are age-verified.
