VerifyMy Privacy Policy

VerifyMy uses the highest level of encryption, maximising the security of your data, and deletes all documents after validation.

During the age-verification process, we do not receive any of the documents you upload, we only receive a final confirmation that you are age-verified.

How to age verify with VerifyMy

Once you log in the MA for the first time after the age verification solution was implemented, you will be redirected to VerifyMy’s verification process page:

From here, you will have two options:

• Log in to your VerifyMy account

If you already have an account, as soon as you log in VerifyMy will collect the information about your age automatically. If you are 18 years old or older, you will be redirected to the MA, where you will be able to navigate normally.

If you are under 18 years old, you will be logged out and redirected to the login page.

• Create an account on VerifyMy

If you don’t have an account on VerifyMy, you will need to create one so that your age can be verified.

Verifying your age and creating an account

To create a new account, as soon as you land on the VerifyMy page, click on “Continue”:

You will be asked to check the box to give your consent VerifyMy. Once that is done, click on “Continue” again:

You will be given an option to scan the QR code with your phone to complete the process through there or to continue on desktop. For this guide, we will stay on desktop:

The next step will be to choose how you want to be age verified. Choose “ID Scan Face Match”:

A page will load where it will explain the next steps for you to age verify with ID Scan Face Match. Click on “Continue”:

Make sure your room is well lit and that your face fills the frame, as explained on the next page, then click on “Skip” or wait for the countdown to finish:

A page will load with an oval frame, where you will need to frame your face. Once this is done, press “I’M READY”.

You will be asked to move your face closer:

Once this is done, VerifyMy will initiate the analysis:

Once the analysis is done, you will be informed about the next step, where you will need to take a picture of your passport or government issued ID. Click on “Skip” or wait for the countdown to finish:

Following this, choose the issuing country of your document and select the type of document you will use. For this documentation, we chose “Other ID”:

Make sure the front of your document fits on the frame and click on “Take photo”:

Do the same for the back of your document:

On the next page, click on “Yes” to confirm.

Once your age is verified, you will be asked to create an account. Click on “Create account”:

You just need to insert your email and password and click on “Submit”:

Your account will immediately be created. Click on “Continue to site” to finish the process:
