The Advanced Filtering tool was brought to bring you more flexibility and precision when trying to search for content in our MA.

Previous to Advanced Filtering, we offered you the following filter groups to search for videos:

• Category

• Female performers

• Male performers

• Directors

The issue with the previous tool is that you were able to select only 1 filter option and not able to combine them.

Now, with the new Advanced Filtering, you may select multiple filter options from multiple filter groups, increasing the chances of finding the video that best fits your needs.

HOW TO USE

Accessing the feature

1) Login to your account through vixenplus.com

2) Click on “VIDEOS” on the top navbar

3) You will land on the video listing page with the new search tool on the top:

Available filters

The Advanced Filtering contains multiple filters:

• Channels

• Girls

• Guys

• Categories

• Directors

• Girl's hair color

• Girl’s age (on scene)

• Guy's age (on scene)

• Breast size

• Year of scene release

These filters are divided into 2 groups:

1) Main filter groups

The main filter groups can be found at the top of the /videos page:

• Channels - Here, you will find 3 different sub-groups of content:

  • Full scenes;

  • Bonus content (intimates, compilations and BTS);

  • Third-party channels;

• Girls - Female performers;

• Guys - Male performers;

• Categories - All our categories;

2) Extra filters

On the right of the Advanced Filtering tool, you will find the “Extra filters” button:

Once you click on the Extra Filters button, a modal will be triggered with these other filters:

• Directors - All directors that have at least 1 scene with us;

• Girl's hair color

• Girl’s age (on scene)

  • This considers the girl’s age when the scene was shot;

• Guy's age (on scene)

  • This considers the guy’s age when the scene was shot;

• Breast size

  • This considers the bra size and are grouped into three groups: Small, Medium and Large;

• Year of scene release

Type-in search for filters

When a filter group dropdown is triggered, the header of the dropdown will become a search field, where you will be able to type what you are searching for. The list will be filtered according to what you type:

Selected filters

Once you start selecting filter options, the selected filters will appear as pills on the left of the Advanced Filtering tool, together with the count of results:

• If you hover the pill, an “X” will appear. Just by clicking on the top of the pill, the filter will be unselected:

• If there are more than 6 filters selected, a pill will be added with a count of extra filter options selected:

• If you click on this last pill, a modal will be triggered showing all the selected filters organised by filter groups:

• If you click on “RESET ALL FILTERS”, all filters will be unselected and the modal will close;

• If you click on “SHOW RESULTS”, modal will close;

Reset filters

To reset the filters, just click on the “Reset” icon on the right:

VIEWING RESULTS

The results will be listed right below the new search tool:

Right beside the “Reset filter” you will find a “SORT BY” dropdown that you can use to decide how the results should be organised. These are the options:

• Rating - Highest rated videos first

• Views - Most viewed videos first

• Oldest - Oldest videos first

FILTERING RULES

Selecting filters from multiple groups

Our new Advanced Filtering feature is designed to make finding your favorite content faster and more intuitive. Once you start selecting filter options within a specific filter dropdown, our system automatically updates the available options in other dropdowns to ensure every selection you make leads to meaningful results. Here's how it works:

• Initial Filter Selection: When you choose a filter option from one filter group, such as 'Channels', our system immediately assesses which scenes fit that criterion.

• Automatic Update: Following your initial selection, the filter list in other dropdowns, like 'Girls' or 'Categories', are instantly refined. This means we only display those options that still have applicable content available based on your first choice.

By dynamically updating the filter options as you make your selections, we ensure that you have a smooth and efficient search experience.

Example

For example, if you select “BLACKED” from the “CHANNELS” filter, you will notice a total of 426 options under the “GIRLS” filter:

Now, if you add the filter option “TUSHY”, the total options under “GIRLS” will increase to 593:

Selecting filters from the same group

For when you select multiple filter options from a specific filter group and to create a better experience and broaden your content discovery, our Advanced Search feature allows you to choose between the "OR" and "AND" rule to filters selected within the same filter group.

This allows you to refine your searches even further by either expanding your results to include any selected filter (OR) or narrowing them down to only include content that matches all selected filters (AND) in a specific group.

• "OR" rules example: If you selected both 'Vanessa Alessia' and 'Stefany Kyler' and select the "OR" rule, the results will show content that has any of the two selected performers, not just scenes that have both together.

• "AND" rule example: If you selected both 'Vanessa Alessia' and 'Stefany Kyler' and select the "AND" rule, the results will show content in which both performers act together:

Excluding certain filter options from your search results 

This feature enables you to omit content with specific characteristics or performers you prefer not to see, ensuring the results are tailored precisely to your viewing preferences.  

Suppose you don’t wan’t to watch scenes with anal sex. You can go to the “Categories” filter group and set to exclude the “Anal” filter option. This way, the results will not show scenes that contain anal sex. Excluded options will show with a strikethrough and 'hide' label in the list, and as a red label in the results: 

 

Trouble shooting

Zero results with multiple filters selected

While our Advanced Search is designed to refine your search experience, there may be instances where you encounter zero results, even with multiple filters applied. Here's why this might happen and what you can do about it:

• Automatic Filter Updates: As you select options from different filter groups, our system dynamically adjusts the remaining available options to match related content. This means every new filter you apply further on different filter groups narrows down the possibilities.

• Combination Limits: Depending on the combination of filters you choose, it's possible to reach a point where no content matches all the selected criteria simultaneously. For example, selecting a very specific category along with a specific actor and a particular year of release might not match any available titles.

• What to Do:

  1. Reset Filters: Clear one or more filters to widen your search parameters again. This often reveals a broader range of content.

  2. Adjust Selections: Try different combinations of filters. Sometimes, modifying just one choice can open up a new set of available content.

Compilations not being shown when "AND" rule is applied

The goal of the "AND" rule is to show scenes where performers act together. In compilation videos, we highlight multiple performers but they not necessarily are acting together.

For this reason, when the "AND" rule is applied under the "GIRLS", "GUYS" or "CATEGORIES" filter dropdown, we don't show compilations in the results. 

When this happens, you can opt to add compilation videos to the results by selecting the "COMPILATIONS" filter options under the "CHANNELS" dropdown:
